Microneedling
At Priscilla Aesthetics, get ready to elevate your skin with our transformative microneedling treatment! Unveil a radiant complexion and stimulate collagen production with our expert microneedling service. Microneedling is a popular non-invasive treatment that involves gentle pricks to create tiny punctures in the skin which triggers the body’s natural healing response to produce more collagen and elastin. This process helps improve skin texture, reduce scars, wrinkles, and overall enhance the skin’s appearance. It’s a perfect treatment to give your skin an overall youthful glow.
Technology
eDermastamp® is the gold standard of professional micro-needling! Promote skin repair and reduce the appearance of aging, wrinkles, scars, & stretch marks with eDermastamp® Collagen Induction Therapy, licensed by Health Canada. With as few as three treatments spaced six weeks apart, patients can improve their appearance and step out with confidence. Due to their non-invasive nature, micro-needling sessions usually require little downtime, which is attractive to patients. Other benefits include:
– Works for all skin types – dark to fair.
– Clinically shown to reduce the appearance of facial acne scars.
– Procedures take about 30 minutes, and results are seen in as few as two treatments.
– Microneedling procedures tend to cost less than alternatives. The cost varies depending on the size and number of treatment areas
How Microneedling Works
Microneedling devices cause controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process. As the skin begins to heal, it goes through a three- phase wound repair process.
– Inflammation. Piercing the skin triggers the immune system to disinfect the wounds, remove debris, increase blood flow and begin to create new tissue.
– Proliferation. The wound is rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix.
– Remodeling. The wound is replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels. Required Sessions: 3-4, six weeks apart
